Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
Greetings from soggy West Texas.
Feels great to write that as we open Wednesday with a little drizzle and gray skies. Been a long time and I’m not gonna complain at all. In fact, it makes it feel more like football weather, so that’s a bonus.
Speaking of football, I feel like I need to start adjusting my bed-time for the Texas Tech game this week at Washington State. This thing won’t wrap until around one a.m. our time, certainly a long game would be another tribute to Mike Leach . . .
So, gonna start stretching out the next few days. Of course I could just take a nap Saturday, but at my age, that might turn into “going to bed”…it happens.

Over, Under, Rated Right Wednesday
Each week we throw out a topic or category and y’all give us some ratings. This week we’re going to breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day, they say. We should talk about it more I guess. Specifically, give us your ratings for Fast Food Breakfast items, meals and restaurants. Post yours in the comments and we’ll get to this as well on The Daily Broadcast tonight. Here’s a few of ours…
Over: McDonalds. The whole thing. I don’t get it. People swear by it. Must be the coffee. Sure ain’t the hashbrowns…
Under: Rudy’s BBQ. Their breakfast tacos are fantastic and I don’t get them enough. Take them to a tailgate party and you’re instantly as popular as the guy who stayed up all night smoking a brisket.
Rated Right: Waffle House. The hash browns are a meal unto themselves. Just right. Heinz 57 sauce on top to perfect it.
