It feels like it should be at least Thursday, doesn’t it?

We’ve already covered a lot of ground this week with Texas Tech athletics, and some of it has at least been on the field. Can’t remember if we mentioned it, but last we you could have gotten Texas Tech at 25-1 to win the National Championship. Today it’s anywhere from 18-1 or 16-1 depending on where you look.

We’re wondering today how many of y’all have put money on Texas Tech to win it all. If you have, let us know in the comments. You don’t have to say how much just if you’ve done it. The point to all of this is that the nation is waking up to how good this team could be. Both the books and the bettors. Where money goes, interest follows. Will this be another attention getting win for Texas Tech? Will the Red Raiders struggle to cover the 9 points as a road favorite? Remember, they took money at Utah, so this is a first for Tech this season.

What IF: Texas Technological College not been located in Lubbock?

How different would West Texas be if Texas Tech had been awarded to Amarillo or Plainview or Abilene? You get the idea? Would the Power Seat of the region be located wherever Tech was? Would Lubbock still have grown the way it has? If you attended Texas Tech, can you even ponder having gone to school in another location?
