You made it to Friday!
Not an easy task for some of us. Between tons of food and family, lots of football and pie, yes there was pie, Thursday seemed more like a whole weekend worth of stuff in one day. Here’s hoping each of y’all had a great day and that you’re ready to roll into a massive weekend here in Raiderland.
It’s time to get those predictions out for Texas Tech in what could be one of the biggest games in program history. A win at West Virginia tomorrow morning/afternoon, sends the Red Raiders to their first-ever Big 12 Championship Game. That would almost certainly mean Texas Tech would make the College Football Playoff even with a loss in the Big 12 Title Game. We don’t want to test that theory though…
So, as with each Friday, give us your score predictions in the comments below. As most of you know, when it comes to covering point spreads Texas Tech is the best in the nation this year at 10-1. Ohio State next at 9-2. Texas Tech knows how to finish and I think Texas Tech HC Joey McGuire wants to make a very loud statement early in the day Saturday to leave no doubt in the committees mind’s about who the Red Raiders are. Right now Texas Tech is favored by 23.5 points. I think that’s a fair number.

Bonus points if you were acting like a Great Texan outside the confines of The Lone Star State…. As for us, it might have been yesterday when we at various times of the day ran the AC, then the heat, then the AC again and finally the heat to finish the night. Lot’s of folks in the house and lots of cooking going on and yep, folks ( My Wife ) got a little toasty. That’s Texas for you in late November!
