As sports business guru Andrew Brandt says, “There will be lawyers”. . .

If the world of college sports has taught us anything over the last four or five years it’s that there will be court cases and lawsuits and you name it. So no one really seems all that shocked the route the Brendan Sorsby story is taking, right?

The word Monday from USA Today’s Matt Hayes was that IF a case was filed by Sorsby against the NCAA it would be in Lubbock District Court.

Shocking….

Right now, the rehab of soon-to-be starting Texas Tech QB Will Hammond is much more intriguing. Since last week, when a certain sports betting story broke; all of a sudden we started getting great updates on when Hammond could be ready.

Coincidence?

Probably.

Either way, it makes the late Spring and early Summer for Texas Tech fans a lot more hopeful about the upcoming season.
