Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
Clarity in life is a great thing.
It eases anxiety and allows folks to deal with reality.
Texas Tech Football, and by extension their fans, now have complete clarity going into August when it comes to the QB position. And that’s a good thing. If the statements by HC Joey McGuire haven’t been enough, Will Hammond gave you more clarity Tuesday speaking on Big 12 Sirius radio show. He’s been cleared weeks ago by the doctors and he’s your starter Day One of camp and Game One of the season.
Clarity.
After the Summer of Sorsby, Texas Tech fans needed this. There will hopefully be little drama in the coming days for the Red Raiders. You want boring in August. No injuries, no departures, no lawyers nothing but football. Hopefully that’s what the stage is set for.
If that’s the case it will be a productive month for the Preseason Big 12 favorites. ( Don’t you love reading that!). With Hammond not having to split time with Jack Francis or anyone else, just in case, the offense should have a smooth look by the time Houston comes calling in Week 3. We expect Hammond to get the same number of snaps Morton did last year in the first two games. Texas Tech should be in control by half and you get Hammond out of there.
Now we can all just settle back and wait for the daily videos of Micha Hudson makes catches downfield in practice….
We’ll talk about that, whatever news the rest of the day brings us plus visit with old friend Don Williams this evening on The Daily Broadcast. Join us LIVE at 5:30 Central via Twitter/X, Raiderland YouTube Channel or our growing Facebook Page. All FREE so subscribe to each one and never miss a thing.
If life got in the way last night, here’s the Tuesday show for ya:
Get after the day and get your questions and comments ready to go for tonight.
