Happy Thursday, Y’all !
Admit it. You spent the last couple of days not really sure what day of the week it was. Felt like Friday on Monday… Saturday on Christmas Eve and Christmas felt like a Sunday… except it wasn’t. It’s kinda of preview I think for being retired. What day is it? Doesn’t matter!
Either way, we made it to Thursday and things are gonna be smoking fast until New Years. Tons of stuff going on from Texas Tech vs Arkansas on Friday to NFL, Bowls, CFB Playoffs and of course Texas Tech MBB and Lady Raiders in early Big 12 action. We needed a few days of eating way to much to get ready for all of this.
When it comes to Texas Tech Football, the updates have been fun to see from Memphis. Most notable right now is that All-Time is working out. That’s All-Time leading rusher Tahj Brooks for those folks from Arkansas reading this trying to find out more about Tech. Hey! We’re glad you’re here. Now, just because Brooks is working out, doesn’t mean it’s definitely Tahj Time in Memphis, but right now it looks promising. We’ll see. I still really don’t want him to play, but that’s just me.
As for Arkansas, last one leaving the Hills turnout the lanterns. Between portal and opt outs it looks like 27 players not gonna be there for them Friday night. Again, we’ll see. But right now Tech has a decided advantage that the books in Vegas have been slow to reflect, mainly because not many folks have been betting this game. Goof for you if you’re a Sharp. If you don’t know if you’re a Sharp, you’re not.

Over, Under, Rated Right Thursday
On Thursdays we rate things. It’s what we do. Of course you get to help. This week we are rating holiday leftovers. Let’s face it. Some things are great the first time around and then stink after that. Like fish. From Best to Worst and in-between. What do you have for us this week? Overrated: Anything involving jello. Pretty much good for one go-round if at all. Jello salad? Nope.
Underrated: Mashed potatoes. Great mashed potatoes like my wife makes… Save them, save some gravy, rinse and repeat.
Rated Right: Anything involving meats that can be turned into a sandwich. Pork tenderloin sliders later this week for the win!
