Happy Monday, Y’all !

And just like that we are into the middle of May this week! Which means we are fight the Weed War of ’25. Our yard, which my wife takes great pride in, has been invaded by weeds. We have entered the battle with all we have. If you’re dealing with the same issues, let us know what is working for you. We are considering either napalm or Agent Orange at this point. That or plowing it up and planting cotton. Everything is on the table.

Beyond that hopefully everyone had a great Mother’s Day with family. We did, even if it involved spraying for weeds!

Now, on to the show. Which by that we mean The Daily Broadcast which will roll out LIVE tonight at 6:30 Central on X, YouTube and Facebook. Plenty to talk about tonight from Texas Tech Softball and Baseball to the Texas Rangers and even some meaningful NFL news from over the weekend. Join in with your comments and questions. If you missed out on the Friday night show, here ya go:

Good, Bad And Ugly

On Mondays we look back on the weekend and recap it old-school style with the Good, Bad and Ugly. Some things were great, some you just had to look away. Give us yours in the comments below and we’ll discuss more tonight on TDB.

G: Texas Tech Softball. Actually great. Win the Big 12 Tournament without giving up a run and then claim first ever NCAA Regional Host spot as the 12 seed. We’ll talk about the seed tonight on the show. Also good, Jace and Josh Jung playing against each other for the first time in MLB as the Rangers met the Tigers. Add in a Josh HR on Mother’s Day… that’s pretty cool.

B: The ESPN production of the NCAA Softball Tournament Selection Show. Brutal. Took far too long to announce the field. Just announce the teams, then do the analysis. It was more about the hosts than the teams. Exactly what we’d expect from ESPN.

U: Texas Tech Baseball. Goes 1-2 at home vs a very pedestrian UCF team. Pitching was abysmal for the most part other than Saturday. We’ll see how bad they want to play when they go on vacation, I mean final Big 12 series, this week at BYU.

Those are just a few of our GBUs. We’ll have more tonight on TDB.
