Happy Thursday, Y’all !
One day closer to Texas Tech’s season opener. You know it’s nearly time for kick-off when Texas Tech is sending out emails for fans on “how” to throw the tortillas.
We also get some interesting nuggets out of Front Office Sports today. They report that college football players will earn 1.9 billion dollars this year, nearly double from 2025. It’s an interesting breakdown by position groups and well worth a quick read. And yes, it’s good to be a QB these days. Always was.
We’ll get into that, have a little prediction contest for Texas Tech vs Ark-Pine Bluff, look around the Big 12 and take your questions and comments LIVE at 6:30 Central on The Daily Broadcast. Join in via X, Youtube or Facebook. All platforms always FREE, so subscribe to them all.
If you somehow miss out on the Wednesday show, here ya go:
Get your comments and questions ready to go and we’ll see you tonight.
Over, Under, Rated Right Thursday
On Thursdays in Raiderland, we get to rating things. You have to know where you stand on certain things well before the weekend starts. You never know what you’re going to get asked and when, so you need to be prepared for anything.
This week we take a look at the cities that make up the Big 12. We’ve obviously had a few new ones to experience and welcomed back some old ones over the past two years. So, give us the places you’ve travelled to and how you’d rate them. Cincinnati is really the only city I haven’t spent any time in from the current Big 12.
Fire away in the comments and I’ll have my list tonight on The Daily Broadcast.
I’ll say that I’m glad to see some of the Western stops in the Big 12 now and one of the new ones I’m fine never making a trip to…
