It’s great to be back to work!
Don’t get me wrong. We love holidays, love family and friends, all the great food and fellowship, but when Sunday night rolled around; it was time. Time to get back to doing what we love and having fun with y’all on the site, on social media and on the shows!

Meanwhile, back at the Texas Tech Football ranch, we went from seeing Texas Tech play their most complete game of the year Saturday in beating WVU 52-15 to seeing them fire defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter and secondary coach Marcel Yates on Sunday afternoon.
The harsh reality of major college football with millions of dollars on the line.
The news wasn’t done coming out of Texas Tech Sunday night as On3 Sports reported that Fr. WR Michael Hudson, the much ballyhooed 5 star recruit was entering the transfer portal. That set off a fire-storm on social media as many Texas Tech fans had wondered all year why he wasn’t playing. Was it injury? Was it being buried on the depth chart? Was it something? I guess we will all know soon enough. Either way, not a great look for the Red Raiders We’ll of course discuss that tonight on TDB.
I’ve got lots of thoughts on the firing of DeRuyter. I think he’s a rock-solid coach. We’ll share those thoughts with you tonight at 6:30 on The Daily Broadcast when we go LIVE on X, YouTube and Facebook. Be sure and follow us on all our platforms ( all free ) and never miss a thing.
