Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
Tuesday night was supposed to be a tune-up game for Texas Tech MBB as they hosted 24-point underdog Northern Colorado. Nobody told the Bears. Instead it was tied in the second half at 70 and then the Red Raiders had to scratch and claw to a 101-90 win on a night where defense seemed optional. Thanks to a 36-point performance by Lujuann Watts Texas Tech got by on another bad defensive night.
After the game HC Grant McCasland ripped his teams effort. Rightfully so.
We’ll have a lot to talk about tonight with that performance going into the final big non-conference game of the year when Texas Tech plays Duke Saturday in NYC. Add in CFB Playoff talk and the NFL and it’s gonna be a fun show.

What IF Wednesday
Each Wednesday we go down the road of alternative history. Things change on a dime in this world. Decisions made and not made affect everything. Sometimes we look at sports, sometimes we look at non-sports. We find out how you think history would change….
What IF: Texas Tech HC Joey McGuire made no staff changes from last year to this year?
With Mack Leftwich and Shiel Wood each getting nice new raises yesterday, and well deserved, how different would this past season have been if they weren’t here. What IF Zach Kittley and Tim DerRuyter were still the coordinators at Texas Tech? Would Texas Tech have had the same success on both side of the ball?
Tell us in the comments and will discuss tonight in-depth on The Daily Broadcast.
