We start off this week looking at an under-seeded and disrespected Texas Tech Softball team that just brutalized SEC pitching en route to the College World Series in OKC. This weekend it was Florida getting hammered in Gainesville with Texas Tech winning on Sunday 16-7. The Gators didn’t handle it well, refusing to shake hands after an raw-emotion series that started with former Gator and current Red Raider star Mia Williams getting plunked and then ending with her hitting a Sunday HR to set the tone for the Texas Tech offense.

We’ll have a lot to say on The Daily Broadcast tonight about the series. It seems that if a school like Texas Tech and not an ESPN/Softball Mafia team like Florida wins, a lot of folks are upset. Including it seemed, the ESPN announcing crew of Beth Mowins, Michelle Smith and Jessica Mendoza. Their obvious lack of preparation for Texas Tech, relying on a storying of NIL and transfers and nothing else… plus their disdain for how Texas Tech’s Jerry Glasco utilized his two All-American pitchers in Nijaree Canady and Kaitlyn Terry was unprofessional and telling. Texas Tech wasn’t supposed to be there so why focus on them….
