Who doesn’t love a rematch!
The Big 12 Championship game is giving us a good one in BYU and Texas Tech. BYU feels like they were beat up and didn’t play their best in Lubbock. Texas Tech felt like, right after the game, that they left a lot of meat on the bone kicking five field goals and that they should have blown-out the Cougars.
So, let’s see what we get round two.
Strength on strength.
BYU wants to run to establish the pass. Texas Tech has the best run defense in the country.
No shortage of storylines as well with media reports every where saying Penn. State is targeting BYU HC Salani Sitaki to be their next leader. Does BYU get in if they lose? Does Texas Tech vault to number 3 perhaps in the CFB Playoff Rankings with a decisive win?
You gotta love a good sequel. ( More on that later ).
