Happy Monday, Y’all!

Texas Tech Football is undefeated and moving up in the top ten, Texas Tech Hoops is closer than you think and the national media is paying attention. Life is good.

Of course when the media pays attention, you get the good and the bad, equally focused on. On the field, it’s all great for Joey McGuire and the Red Raiders. Off the field, you’ve got a Big 12 HC cursing out your coach post-game over allegations of things ( pocket knife ) being thrown at his staff and you have your team getting penalized because some fans want to throw food on the field and call it a tradition. . .

So, we got that going for us as the week starts.

We’ll talk about anything and everything Texas Tech related tonight on The Daily Broadcast. We know how to stop the Tortilla Problem. The question we pose to you this morning is simple…. Why don’t Texas Tech fans respect their players and Head Coach enough to listen to what they say? Why are some Texas Tech fans so selfish? Can this be stopped. Yep. And it’s not hard. In fact, stopping poor behavior is almost always easy. You just have to be willing to do what needs to be done.

So from throwing food to Texas Tech QB Behren Morton’s latest injury, Cam Dickey’s huge night running the ball and another ho-hum school record night of 9 sacks by the Texas Tech defense, we have more than a few things to get to.

And we haven’t even gotten to the Dallas Cowboys latest blunder and the rest of the NFL yet. Luckily, it’s a large show.

Every Monday we recap the wild and wooly weekend with y’all via the tried and true Good, Bad & Ugly topics. Unveiled in 1994 on The Williams and Hyatt Show, The GBU never fails to satisfy. Each weekend, sports or otherwise there are things you loved, things you liked, things you hated and thing so bad you just had to look away.

We’ll give you a few of our GBU’s you fire away in the comments and we’ll take up the discussion tonight on TDB.

G: Texas Tech Offensive Line and Cameron Dickey. History made. Cool to watch.

B:Grown-ups looking for ways to justify throw food and getting their so-called favorite team penalized in crucial moments.

U: KC’s JuJu Smith Schuster’s illegal hit on Detroit’s Brian Branch. Branch’s brawl and reaction post-game Sunday. Both ugly looks for the NFL.
