And now it really does feel like summer around Raiderland. With the WCWS over thankfully we have Texas Tech Track And Field in action this week at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Beautiful place if you ever get a chance to visit.
Texas Tech track is pretty banged up right now and that’s limited their ability to gun for a national title this year, but they’re still gonna play a role for sure. Always fun to watch. That the story is that Tech probably can’t win it all, vs can win it all; that says a lot about where this program is.
So enjoy both the track and the field this week.

We love Alt. History in Raiderland. The “what might have been different” if just one or two things changed. Sports is rife with those kinds of stories all the time. So, sometimes we go sports and sometimes we go history. You name it.
This week were taking a look at golf.
What IF: Tiger Woods had joined the Army and never become a professional golfer. Take Woods out of the last 30 years of golf conversation. Who would we talk about instead? Who would have benefited most with Col. Woods as an Army Ranger? Where would golf be as a sports?
