So, by Dae Quan Wright after he spent nearly a month with the Cleveland Browns – LSU and Lane Kiffin are college football’s new Bad Boys. Can’t believe they’re trying to knock Texas Tech off that perch! Seriously though. . . will the SEC really do anything to LSU the way the Big 12 was prepared to move against Texas Tech (15-1) over the Sorsby issue?
The SEC released a strongly worded memo last night. So.
When you read the statement, SEC officials use the words “should not be allowed to return to college athletics”. The SEC doesn’t say they can’t or that teams that use those players will be sanctioned or anything of the sort. They just say it’s not a good thing.
Very tough of them.
Our guess is that LSU gets several players in from the NFL and that Greg Sankey and the league blames the courts and they skate.
It does kinda ring familiar doesn’t it..
The key to remember at this point its a very limited subset of players who will get judicial relief over the 5-for-5 ruling. And all of it could have been avoided by the NCAA.
