Happy Tuesday y’all!

We miss ya on Monday. Seemed like a good day to wake up and leave the house at 5:30 in the morning and go to Stephenville. The Season Of College Tours has begun for our son and he wanted to give Tarleton State a look. So we did. Long day but productive. I had no idea Tarelton State folks had a long and heated rivalry with UTA, but now I do. Also found great hamburger joint in Grumps. Rock-solid cheeseburger and the fries were some of the best I’ve had over the years. 12 hours later we were home. That meant I fell asleep before the Kansas City offense did, so I got to wake up to another second-half melt-down for Chiefs offense. Think they average about 5.5 points in the second half this year. Hmm.

OK, let’s get going. We got stuff to do and Christmas decorations to locate. We’ll see ya on the Daily Broadcast tonight around 6:30ish so get your mind right and join in.We’ll feature some topics you see here and of course more Texas Tech Football and Basketball. if you’re on the road, be safe. And my advice, just avoid I-20 at all cost. What beatdown that has become.

Tuesday’s Best

Each Tuesday we give you a topic and you give us your two best examples. This week, we’ve got a ton of traditions going on. From family Thanksgiving traditions to sports traditions. By the way, it’s a tradition at Tarleton State to not walk on the grass around campus… Hmm. Where have I heard that before. Meanwhile…

Today we want you to give us your Two Best or Two Favorite Traditions in Sports.

From the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day to college rivalry games and everything in between, if it’s considered a tradition and it involves sports; we want your two best. if it involves your family, that’s even better. So fire away. Give us those traditions you love!

Best Thing I Ever Ate

Hat-Tip Cooking Channel for a great show.

We told you earlier about the fries at Grumps in Stephenville. They were just darn near perfect. Big but not steak fries. Very crispy but not overcooked at all. Perfect Golden Brown color.

So, who gets your nod for making the best fries? Fast food to sit-down places; who does your fries right? Only thing that would have made them better was Heinz 57 sauce. Ketchup worked just fine though. Grumps joins The Annex in Logan, New Mexico in our Great Fries Hall of Fame now after one visit.
