Happy Monday y’all!
Let’s get this week cranking today. Lots to do. We’ve got some niece weather to start the week and then it looks like winter is showing up. For sure in the Panhandle regions of Raiderland. So let’s take advantage of it and get all the stuff cleaned off your porch and get the garage ready. And by you, I mean me.
It doesn’t feel like it, but it’s game week for Red Raider Football. The legendary Independence Bowl awaits this coming Saturday. Anyone going? Let us know if you’re making the trip. It sure seems like most folks have decided this is a game to watch on TV instead of trekking to Shreveport. Add in Texas Tech Basketball playing in the metroplex the same day and that is a killer for Tech when it comes to getting North Texas fans making the trip to lose money at the boats in Louisiana.
We’ll have a lot on this game in the coming days this week, but for now it’s time to hand out those coveted Raiderland Helmet Stickers.

Highly coveted, sought by many, this is the only place one can get them. They go to anyone, sports or non-sports, who deserves some recognition for being awesome this past week. Not a lot to choose from on the Texas Tech front his past week, so what are y’all gonna go with? Might I suggest my Mom? She gets one for turning 80 in the last few weeks. We celebrated properly this weekend with family. Shout-out to the women’s choir of West Texas that was having their Christmas party Saturday at Sugarbakers in Lubbock. Their songs were a great bonus to our lunch!!! Very cool So Happy Birthday Mom, you get a sticker! (Just like she always wanted)
