Happy Thursday, y’all.
Feels like this week is flying by and that’s alright by me. January is always the toughest month I think in West Texas, as I’ve said before. It’s rugged cold and Spring feels so far away. Now we hit February, got a short month and your next flip of the calendar gets you Spring. Heck We get Texas Tech Baseball in 15 days now. Glad to see February on the calendar! Great hoops month as well with the Big 12 race being a slugfest each night out. Then there’s the whole Super Bowl thing. Thank you February. You’re a kind month after the darkness of January!
Either/Or Thursday
We give you a couple of tough choices each Thursday. Sometimes sports, sometimes not.
What would you prefer when it comes to the Super Bowl? Either the regular two-week wait; OR just a simple one week in between the conference finals? Do we need the two weeks of hype? Does it make for a better game? At some point we’ll be able to enjoy the Super Bowl on a Sunday and then the start of March Madness the next Thursday. . .
What’s the cooler play for you in basketball? Either watching a long three-pointer go in; OR an alley-top dunk? (OK, this one is easy!)
