Brought to you in part by South Plains College. Tons of great Red Raiders started off as great Texans. The Road To Raiderland Runs Through Levelland!

Happy Friday Y’all!

Happy Opening Day everyone!

One of my favorite days of the year. College Baseball is back. Only way it could be better would be if Texas Tech were opening at home instead of on the road in Arlington against Tennessee. We’re gonna learn a lot over the next three days, so buckle up. Our first Diamond Talk, Presented by Thacker Jewelry, comes your way Sunday evening, so save some time to talk Texas Tech Baseball with us then.

Great opportunity to improve seed potential for the Texas Tech Men Saturday against Iowa State. Never easy, but a win could pull Tech to the 5-line on most projections. HoopHD.com has the Red Raiders on the 6-line right now and there’s plenty of chances to move up over the next few weeks.

The Lady Raiders get #21 Baylor on the road, not the house of horrors it once was, but will still take a supreme effort to get the win. The Lady Raiders just need to put together four solid quarters of offensive and they’ll get going again. Like on the men’s side, the women’s side of the Big 12 gives you plenty of chances to enhance the resume for March. It’s just hard to do!

We’ll be with you tonight around 6:30ish for the Daily Broadcast previewing the weekend so join us LIVE on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Most Texan Thing

Each Friday we do our part to make sure the world has enough Texanness in it. We ask you to tell us the Most Texan Thing You’ve Done This Week. It could be big or it could be not-so-big. Either way, we want you to share with the world and be a light for Texas!

As for us, we spent our regular amount of time on our dirt roads, this week it went from 70 degrees to snow to muddy to rock hard all in the span of four days or so. West Texas!
