Brought to you each week by the wonderful folks at Shropshire Insurance of Texas. Based in Lubbock, but big enough for the whole Great State of Texas. Shropshire is Independent, just like you. Give Jeff a call this week and let them go to work on your insurance needs. Tell them Raiderland sent you!

5 Things We Know Know On A Sunday

  1. In a world where some folks think a man can wake up one day and identify as a woman, it’s makes perfect sense that there are some folks who think a random guy in Alaska can wake up one day, have the same name as a sitting Senator and run a non-existent campaign against him.
  2. If we’re gonna have to keep having time changes, and it looks like we are; I vote that we have them just like this. Always going into the first day of a new month. Seems orderly and for some reason makes it a little easier. Speaking of a new month, welcome to November! A highly underrated month on the calendar. Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, meaningful football every weekend, Hallmark Christmas movies in full-swing and no one looks at me sideways when I buy egg nog. Nice to see ya, November.
  3. Fact. One of there most underrated Country Music Songs of All-Time is Mark Chesnutt’s “I’ll Think Of Something”. Not sure why it didn’t and doesn’t get more respect.
  4. Someone could make millions if they created and air fragrance that smells like hot biscuits and butter. For your car, in candles, a nice perfume for that special someone….
  5. Speaking of great things in November, we saved the best for last. Happy Anniversary to my wonderful wife Tessa!. 23 years and it feels like we’re just getting started. Thank you for finding me and for putting up with me. I’ll go check on the biscuits.
