5 Things We Know On A Sunday

  1. The weather smart-guys say we might have wind gusts as high as 70 MPH around West Texas today. My only question: Who schedule a junior high track meet for a Sunday?
  2. If we didn’t have announcers and news people around to tell us how dramatic and dire a situation is, how would we ever know how to react? If we were left up to draw our own conclusions on life issues how different would our lives be? Spoiler Alert! Your life would be better.
  3. Top 3 Fast Food Places Not In Lubbock: No.3. Carl’s Jr. No.2. Del Taco. No.1. Culver’s.
  4. The Lubbock Mayoral race will consist of several folks talking about how conservative they are so they can get a low-paying job spending your money. . .
  5. As March Madness rolls on, a gentle reminder that “The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh” is still the greatest basketball movie you’ve never seen.
