Happy Monday, Y’all !
Ya, not much going on around the country this weekend, Huh….
They say may you be blessed to live in interesting times. I think we’ve had a solid dose of that over the past few weeks. No matter your political leanings, this stretch of time in America is sure to go down in the history books. Soak it in. Learn from it. Save some stories for your grandkids. This is history in real-time.
Beyond that, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing my son come out of his room for a few minutes to eat and drink and maybe shower. Other than that he’s been at work all day, then EA Sports College Football all-night. Two trips to the National Title game for him and two losses. The college Marv Levy right now if this keeps up. I’d say Bud Grant but I’m afraid too many folks wouldn’t get it. . .
All reports from everyone is that the game exceeded expectations and expectations were high. I haven’t tried to play it yet. Still needing a tutorial.
We’ve got a lot to talk about this Monday and can’t wait to visit tonight on The Daily Broadcast. Join the show LIVE at 6:30 on X, YouTube and Facebook. Questions and Comments always welcome in real-time. Love the replay people too! Be sure and follow us on all of our platforms so you never miss a thing. Up to you how you want to watch the show. It’s America. You get options.
Raiderland Helmet Stickers
Helmets stickers are cool. We want them to come back. Each Monday, we hand out some to anyone and everyone who deserves a little recognition for being awesome. Sports, or non-sports, it doesn’t matter. Greatness is greatness and we need to celebrate it where we can.
Tonight on TDB you can give us your winners. Here’s a few of ours.
- Texas Tech Sr. Callum Scott. Best amateur at the British Open. Played great all weekend. Got a shout-out from Xander Schauffele on the 18th Green Winner’s Ceremony. It doesn’t get better than that. Of course we thought Ludvig Aberg would be the guy repping the Double T in a major way this weekend, but when he didn’t make the cut, Scott was ready to show his countrymen there what he’d learned in West Texas. Poor guy’s accent is gone be a train wreck for life now!
- Adrian Beltre. Got his plaque there in Cooperstown. Has a Texas Rangers hat on. As it should be.
- Putting fresh pico de gallo on your queso.
We will probably have a few more for you tonight on the show. Post yours here in the comment section and then spread the word to your friends. You can start your own Raiderland Helmet Sticker thread on your social media feeds.
