Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
Is it just us here in Raiderland, or is this week going slow? It feels like it is. Also, we need to start preparing for a rainy day of tailgating it looks like. Area farmers would have scheduled a Texas Tech football game in late July if they thought it would get this kind of forecast. I had to double check and make sure the South Plains Fair wasn’t in town.
Speaking of which, how do y’all define the South Plains? Is Tulia in or out? I go as far as maybe then everything else north is the Panhandle or the High Plains. South to around Lamesa works for me. East til you get off the caprice then you’re in the rolling plains. West to the Texas State Line.
Moving on, we’ve got plenty to talk about on The Daily Broadcast. I think I’ll finally have time to release my Super Official Win Total for Texas Tech this season. Monday and Tuesday have both been that busy on the show. Texas Tech Basketball gave us a nugget Tuesday announcing they’ll play Duke at Madison Square Garden. Seems like we’ve seen that movie before, but should make for good RPI game.
All of that and more when you join the show LIVE at 6:30 on X, YouTube and Facebook. All of our platforms are FREE so watch where you prefer and sign-up for all three this morning!
If you missed out on our Tuesday night show, here ya go:
Get your questions and comments ready and we’ll see y’all tonight on the show.
What If Wednesday

Brought to you by Shropshire Insurance of Texas. Based out of Lubbock, they’re Independent and ready to go to work for you. When you have Shropshire on your side, you’ll never have to ask “What If” when it comes to your insurance needs.
In Raiderland, we love Alt. History. We love the twists and turns that sports and life can make on the turn of a dime when a decision is made and choices go one way or the other. Think about all of the What Ifs in Texas Tech history alone.
This week we take a look outside the Red Raider realm and delve into the world of the NFL.
What IF Vince Lombardi had been hired as the first head coach of the Dallas Cowboys and Tom Landry had gone to Green Bay in 1960 from the New York Giants….
Would each coach have duplicated the success they had in another city? With a different style franchise? With different players? How does the decade of the 1960s play out in NFL history?
Tell us your thoughts in the comments below and we’ll share ours tonight on The Daily Broadcast.
