Happy Wednesday, Y’all !

Texas Tech MBB’s yo-yo act returned Tuesday night in Lubbock, falling to a desperate bubble-team in TCU, 73-65. The Red Raiders could never take control against the Frogs on a fairly lethargic Senior Night. This marks another loss after a big win for this team, with our without J. T. Toppin in the line-up. It most likely assures Texas Tech no better than a four-seed in the NCAA Tournament from here.

If you’d told us the night Toppin went down at ASU that Tech would be no worse than a four-seed, most Red Raiders fans would have taken that. After the win at ISU, things changed. And now, after the loss to TCU things have changed again. It’s almost like it’s March or something.

Next up is BYU in Provo on Saturday night. A simple win there isn’t so simple. That said, it don’t think it will hurt Tech unless the selection committee is just looking for reasons to drop them down because of the Toppin injury. Either way, still a big game for Tech if you don’t want the Big 12 Tournament to matter much, and you don’t.

We’ll talk about that, the rest of the Big 12, Lady Raider Basketball heading to KC and of course some Texas Tech Softball and Baseball. It’s what we do. Join us LIVE tonight at 6:30 Central via X, YouTube or Facebook live. All platforms always FREE.

We didn’t have a show last night because of basketball and a few technical glitches after the game, but if you want to catch-up, you can check out the Monday night offering here. Maybe you missed out on something great:
