Just some quick things today before we get to the Hot Links.

Got some good scheduling news regarding Texas Tech Baseball. They’ll play in the Round Rock Classic this coming season against Alabama, La. Tech and Texas State. The best thing about this is the timing. Coming in late-February, this will give the team time to sort a few things out while hopefully playing some tomato cans to start the year. The tournaments are great, but the smarter teams are playing them a little later in the season that week one.

    I by then that we would be moving to Texas but was still living in SoCal the summer of ‘82 – we didn’t move here until the end of August

    Spent that summer with friends and cousins doing all the SoCal things one last time – and we went to a lot of movies, including, “ Best Little Whorehouse In Texas”

    It was watching that movie when I first discovered the strange phenomenon known as Texas A&M Aggie – had never heard of them before.
