It’s Wednesday of Week 1 in college football. Maybe, just maybe we can begin to move past a Summer of sports cases in courts, scandals and accusations. Ah who is kidding who….this will continue for a while. We can though, pose the question now about who ended up the bigger threat to the “integrity” of college sports these past few months. Was it Texas Tech and the Sorsby Saga or has it become LSU and the Pro Player Issue?

The SEC and the rest of college football and even some in the NFL have hammered LSU over the past few weeks. Has it risen to the vitriol Texas Tech faced back in June? Today’s headline on Yahoo Sports reads, “College Football Is Eating Itself, And LSU Is The Main Course”.

Pretty harsh.
