This week is inching along. Don’t know why it feels that way but it does. At least we’ve got NFL action tonight with Buffalo going down to Miami. Memo for those driving to the stadium…55 MPH. Tops. I wonder if I can get away with eating pizza twice in one week? Stay tuned.
Last night we looked at the impact of the transfer portal and NIL on Texas Tech Football. Folks were kinda split. There’s a trope going around CFB right now that the portal is the cause for a lot of the upsets. I get what they mean, but I also think all the transfers are leading to ragged play by a lot of other teams. You can’t throw in 7-10 new guys every year and not think consistency is going to suffer. They can only learn so much in August. I
