Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
And just like that it was Wednesday and we’ve only got a few more days to tailgate number three of the season and old friend Arizona State coming to town.
Other than seeing one of their running backs score 14 touchdowns one night against Texas Tech, I am completely neutral on ASU. Have nothing against them from a rooting stand-point. I also maintain Tempe is a great place to go for Tech fans so I’m glad they made their way to the Big 12.
But when it comes to generating emotion… gonna take a few years of playing on a regular basis to create that for Tech fans. I’m willing to bet there were more Tech fans “emotionally invested” in seeing Tech beat a UNT team that had embarrassed Tech back in the 90s than this week. We will see.
