Happy Thursday, Y’all !
It’s just about to be the Sports Equinox. The perfect sports alignment where you have NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL plus college football all going on on the same days. Of course in the old days the World Series might be over by now and the NBA wouldn’t yet be going, but that’s a discussion for another time. In the meantime, we just enjoy and that the sports gods for creating months like October!
With that as the backdrop, we’ve got an interesting Texas Tech game this weekend. And by interesting, we mean not interesting at all. The largest point spread ever for a Big 12 conference game at 38.5, and that’s with Tech starting QB Behren Morton still listed as questionable on the injury report. We don’t think he’ll play much if at all. So the story line becomes again Will Hammond and exactly what this game plan will look like
And then again, does it matter if it happens against Oklahoma State right now. . .
The focus now is on the most important four-game, and potentially five game stretch in program history. If not history, at least since 1976, which for many folks is more than their entire time on this planet.
We’ll discuss that and a whole lot more as we always do with y’all tonight LIVE at 6:30 Central Join in on The Daily Broadcast via X, YouTube and Facebook. Over, Under, Rated Right
Each Thursday we get to rating things in Raiderland. You never know what the subject might be and you never know when someone might ask you to rate something, so you’ve got to be ready and prepared. We’re here to help.
This week we’re going non-sports.
Give us your most Overrated, Underrated and Rated Right famous restaurants in Texas.
There’s plenty to choose from. From BBQ to Mexican food, steak houses and roadside joints serving up chicken fried steak and burger. If they’re famous, we want to know what you think about them. And remember, just because they’re well-known, doesn’t make them great.
So get to rating and post your thoughts in the comments. We’ll take up the discussion in-depth tonight on The Daily Broadcast.
