Texas Tech took Texas the distance last year in the finals before running out of gas. This isn’t that team. This team is deeper and deadlier at the plater. And Texas knows it. . . The pressure should be on the Longhorns with Texas Tech being a “mere 11 seed”. That seems laughable now after what Texas Tech has done to top SEC teams the last few weeks, but all the Softball Smart People said it was so, it must be true…
We’ll say again that Texas Tech should be America’s Team right now. Doing it right. Doing it the American Way. Of course it won’t be positioned that way on ESPN. That’s a shame. It would make for a great storyline instead of the one you’ll get force-fed over and over again tonight. You know it by heart now.
We’ll preview the game, get your thoughts on that, the debate in congress today regarding the Protect College Sports Act which now seems be College Sports vs the SEC as well as whatever else happens in the news cycle between this morning and then. And there’s always something!
