Happy Monday, Y’all !
Nothing better than being awakened at 4AM to the sound of thunder. Nice way to start the week with a little shower at Raiderland World. H.Q. this morning. Now the lightning got a little close a couple of times, you know the kind, you hear it, see it, feel it all at the same time. But, we got a little rain out of the deal and this time of year in West Texas, that’s always a great thing.
With that as a backdrop, we start the last full week of July.
That gives us MLB trade-deadline, NFL training camp drama ( Hi there, Mocha Parsons ) and the final few days before August workouts start for college football and fans everywhere get daily reports about how awesome their team looked while stretching and going through high-knee drills….
We’ve actually got quite a bit going on today and we’ll discuss it all on The Daily Broadcast. From Scottie Scheffler winning The Open to WNBA players failing to grasp economics plus the Texas Rangers acting like they want to start playing baseball plus latest from Texas Tech football and more, we’ll have it all tonight LIVE at 6:30 Central.
Join the show via Twitter/X, YouTube and Facebook Live and never miss a thing. If you didn’t catch the Friday show and just want to have some fun, here ya go:
So, get your questions and comments ready to go and we’ll visit tonight at 6:30 Central.
Good, Bad & Ugly Weekend Recap
Each Monday we recap the past few days going old-school with the Williams and Hyatt Show GBU. Stuff you loved and like, stuff you hated and stuff you had to look away from. We’ll give you a few of ours today and you can fire away in the comments.
G: Scheffler and his little boy after winning the British Open. If that didn’t get you fired up, whether you’re a Dad or not… you have no pulse.
B: NASCAR race at Dover. Used to be a fun race. I tried. Tried to watch but gave up and just put on the Alt. Broadcast from TNT. Good stuff with Jeff Burton and Larry McReynolds. At least they had good stories from the old days. Hey NASCAR, dump this car and let’s get back to racing!
U: My right pinkie toe still looks like it doesn’t belong to the rest of my foot. Getting better slowly. Thank goodness for really comfortable Cabela’s padded hiking boots. Maybe another week before my regular boots are back in the rotation…
Alright, fire away in the comments and we’ll discuss all of this in-depth on The Daily Broadcast tonight LIVE at 6:30 Central.
