Happy Texas Independence Day!

What a great way to start what should be a pivotal week for Texas Tech MBB and the Lady Raiders. The Lady Raiders are off to KC for the Big 12 Tournament. As the 5th seed they’ll play Thursday morning against either Kansas State or Cincinnati. Another win or two would greatly solidify their NCAA Seed, hoping to play to at least a 5 this week. Four not out of the question with a run to the finals.

The men wrap up the regular season with TCU in Lubbock Tuesday night and at BYU to finish on Saturday. Two wins and Texas Tech is most likely right on the 3/4 line in the NCAA Tournament. This year’s Big 12 Tournament may actually matter for teams like Texas Tech, which is unusual but there’s a massive log-jam right now on the 2-4 line across the board.

U: Shane Lowry collapse Sunday. From -5000 to win with two holes to go to nothing…. Sad to see but to his credit, he spoke to the media afterwards.
