Happy Monday, Y’all !

We’re gonna have plenty to talk about tonight on The Daily Broadcast!

Texas Tech MBB got back on track in Big 12 play Sunday with a solid win at West Virginia. They controlled the game and built up nice leads; but once again the lack of depth seemed to wear down the Red Raiders late. Can this team survive into March on just 7-8 players and top end guy going 37-40 minutes a night? Load management at Tech is a myth right now.

The Lady Raiders had no problem demolishing Houston Saturday as they continue to push for a top four seed in the NCAA tournament. A season that started off with just trying to make post-season now is about being amongst the best in the country. It’s a lot of fun to watch .

As for Texas Tech softball, why start the season 6-0 including a win at Texas A&M. Also, welcome to The Bomb Squad. Texas Tech softball has already hit 12 home runs on the year. With Nebraska beating Texas this weekend, Tech should be the unanimous number one team in the country later today.

All of to get your thoughts on plus the Super Bore. We mean the Super Bowl. No way around, this was a game that in week 7 you’re looking for something else to watch. Is great defense it is. But last night it felt like watching the Orange Bowl all over again. Seattle was dominant, but settling for field goals and New England looked like the team so many analysts said had played a weak schedule and gotten gifts in the post-season to get to the championship game.

You tell us what you’re thinking about all of those things and more tonight on The Daily Broadcast. We’ll go LIVE at 6:30 Central via X, YouTube and Facebook. All platforms always free so subscribe to each one and you’ll never miss a thing we do!

If you’re new around these parts, here’s what the Friday night show looked like:

Good, Bad & Ugly

Each Monday we recap the weekend that was with the Good, Bad & Ugly Report. Some things were great, some ok, some bad and some so ugly you just had to look away. We’ll toss out a few of ours here and then you can fire away in the comments. We’ll break it all down tonight on The Daily Broadcast.

G: Texas Tech Softball. They were expected be even better than last year and so far, those expectations are being met and exceeded.
B: Nearly every Super Bowl commercial that wasn’t Budweiser’s Free Bird ad or the Dunkin’ Donuts spot with NBC sit-com characters from the 90s. In fact, that’s one of the funnier spots in the last few years.
U: Drake Maye on the Big Stage.

Raiderland Hot Links
