Happy Monday, Y’all !
Welcome to Portal Madness!
The college football transfer portal opened up this weekend and Texas Tech has been a buyer, once again. The biggest news came Sunday night when former Cincinnati QB Brendan Sorsby made it official that he’ll play his final year at Texas Tech. The deal, according to On3.com could be around 4-5 million dollars for Sorsby. To say the least, Texas Tech had a big need at QB and they went and filled. Anyone who thought Tech would be One-Hit Wonders in the world of NIL and the Transfer Portal can think again.
Add in Texas Tech MBB rolling OSU Saturday and the Lady Raiders remaining undefeated on the season – best start in program history – plus NFL playoffs being set and we’ve got plenty to talk about tonight on The Daily Broadcast.
Join the show LIVE at 6:30 Central tonight via X, YouTube and Facebook. All of our platforms always FREE, so subscribe to each one and never miss a thing. If you somehow missed our Friday night show, fret not…we got it right here:

Good, Bad & Ugly
Each Monday we recap the weekend that was with the Good, Bad & Ugly. Some things were great and need to be celebrated. Some…not so much. Some things so ugly, you just had to look away. We’ll give you few of our and you fire away with your own GBUs in the comments. We’ll discuss in-depth tonight on The Daily Broadcast.
G: Christian Anderson goes for 13 assists Saturday in Tech MBB win. Even better? The meatloaf my wife made Sunday when our son came out for early supper. Nailed it. And had just enough for a sandwich later today or late tonight.
B: The Dallas Cowboys defense. Literally the worst in the history of the franchise. They should try and find a play-maker like that Micah Parsons guy Green Bay had before he got hurt. We look forward to Dallas drafting a great WR come April.
U: The New York Jets and The Las Vegas Raiders. And the Raiders beat KC Sunday in a not-so-meaningless game for KC. Raiders keep top draft pick and Chiefs with the loss get up to number 9. So it worked out. Bonus Ugly. Grease on Tupperware. Getting that orange film off is always a challenge.
OK, there’s a quick sample of our GBUs for the day. Give us some great life insight and we’ll take up things on The Daily Broadcast.

Not sure if I can make the live show tonight so putting this here…
True or False:
Going forward, a strong Big12 is good for Texas Tech
True or False:
The previous question doesn’t matter because realignment is coming – again
With those questions as my backdrop, here’s my GBU
GOOD:
Tech is doing exactly what needs to be done and exactly what all the other CFP teams are doing – rebuilding their rosters
BAD:
The other BIG12 teams are being gutted. Funny how such a “weak” league has ALL the top portal QBs
UGLY:
The Big12 is being gutted and Tech is becoming that which they used to despise when UT was still around – the mean “big brother”
And here’s the non-portal version:
GOOD: seeing Texas Tech painted in the end zone on the giant stage of a New Years Day game in the CFP
BAD: not seeing the Texas Tech offense in the end zone on the giant stage of a New Years Day game in the CFP
UGLY: all the see I told ya so’s coming out of the wood work regarding Tech and their CFP appearance
