Happy Friday, Y’all !
We made it. Friday finally and last night we could ease our way into the weekend with meaningful college football action. Boise St. Don’t think we have to worry about that play-off talk this year. Nebraska. Feel free to find an offense. At least we got stuff to talk about though and we love it.
As for Texas Tech we get to see the new version tomorrow night. Hopefully the rain isn’t a major story. Rain is one thing. The last thing Joey McGuire needs is a stop-start night of lightning delays. We’ll always take the rain in West Texas, but for a few hours Saturday we need it lightning free.
We also get to make our first game predictions of the year tonight on The Daily Broadcast. We see that in the places willing to hang a number on this game that Texas Tech is a 52.5 point favorite. I am loathe to ever lay more than about 30 or so in a college game. Do I think Tech can cover? Sure. But that’s still a ton of points.
