Is everybody in? The season is about to begin. Buckle up Texas Tech Football fans, keep your hands inside the ride at all times because for the next seven weeks, the Red Raiders put their playoff chances on the line. Every Saturday, and one Thursday thrown in at the end.

Texas Tech opened up Sunday afternoon as a 14-point favorite over Arizona State this coming Saturday in Lubbock. That’s healthy respect for Tech. We’ll take it. As of this morning, the lines has been sharpened up to a nifty 14.5 points in some places, still 14 though at Circa Sports in Las Vegas. That means folks are buying Texas Tech on the open.
We’ll talk about that, another big win for Texas Tech Soccer, the changes in the Top 10 for College Football and the idiocy on display in the NFL with poor coaching and clock-management all over the place with y’all tonight on The Daily Broadcast.

- Addie Todd, Goalie, Texas Tech Soccer. Todd recorded her 8th “clean sheet” of the season in the 1-0 Tech win at TCU on Sunday. Big 12 save percentage leader at .885. That’s really good.
- David Bailey, DE, New York Jets. Bailey had 3 sacks and forced a fumble Sunday win the rain in their loss to the Browns. He and Jacob Rodriguez may well fight for NFL Defensive Rookie Of The Year Honors.
- Mike Ditka. For being Mike Ditka.
