5 Things We Know On A Sunday
- Trying to get a feisty cat, with claws, into a small pet carrier “bag” should be an Olympic Event. Pro-Tip. Make sure all of the little zippers and whatnot are closed before you dump the cat into the bag. If they get out, and they will, they’re not gonna be real happy about getting caught and going back into the pet carrier. Dogs on a leash. I’ll take it every time over a cat in a bag. I had to chuckle a bit as I walked out the door at the vet, while letting them know she still had her claws and knew how to use them…I figured they could handle it and they did. And now we’ll have no more kittens at Raiderland World HQ. And I’m not putting any more cats in bags.
- If you work for somebody else, you don’t have a “right” to do anything you want, any way you want to, any time you want to do it. You’d think we wouldn’t have to explain this to folks in 2025. If you work for yourself, you have the “right” to do anything you want, but you realize very quickly, that might not be the smartest thing in the world to do.
- I feel like we’re minutes away from being overwhelmed by Pumpkin Spice. Is there no other Fall Spice we can look to? There has to be something! Give us your Top 5 Spices To Replace Pumpkin in the comments today. I’ll give you Chocolate Mint Spice, Old Spice, Queso Spice, Sydney Sweeney Spice and Shiner Bock Spice. It’s time to shove Pumpkin Spice aside America!
- Speaking of Fall, we may not have all of the “colors” that they do in the mountains or back East, but it’s still an awesome time of the year. I’d submit that a field of cotton, bright and white or a West Texas sunset with more colors than rainbow is just as pretty as anything you’ll get in those places. Add in nearly perfect mornings and evenings on the temps and West Texas needs a little more respect when it comes to Fall.
- The Greatest Gift Charlie Kirk gave folks was helping so many of them understand and see the Gift that God has already given them. Enjoy our Gift today and thank you Charlie. Rest Well.
