Happy Monday, Y’all !
Welcome to Monday, welcome to post-season college football and welcome to the club; Texas Tech fans.
Did you ever think that the two biggest games in Texas Tech Football history would involve BYU? In the same season? We live in interesting and fun times if you’re a Texas Tech fan.
With the Big 12 Championship set up late Friday night, it made for a relaxing Saturday beat down of WVU for Red Raider fans. Vegas took note and installed Texas Tech as 13-point favorites over the weekend. One very respected book in Las Vegas, Circa, hung Texas Tech -11 and it quickly moved to 13. Folks can’t get enough of the Red Raiders who are a cover machine, going 11-1 against the spread this season. One of the best years by a power conference team in the last 20 seasons or so. And all of the wins, big wins!
Very impressive to say the least.
Which gets us to our topic today…is Texas Tech peaking at the right time?
Are the Red Raiders as healthy as they can be right now, playing the best football right now; with even better games still in their back pocket? We’re do you think this team is right now regarding the ceiling?
We’ll talk about that, BYU maybe in a coach-search mode, the CFB Playoff rankings, Texas Tech Hoops and the NFL, all tonight with y’all on The Daily Broadcast. Join us LIVE at 6:30 Central tonight via X, Youtube or Facebook Live. All platforms FREE so subscribe to each one and never miss a thing. If you somehow missed Raiderland Rewind this weekend, here’s a good way to catch-up on what Texas Tech fans we’re thinking after the 49-0 win over WVU.
Get your questions, comments, quips and thoughts ready to go and we’ll see you tonight at 6:30!
Good, Bad & Ugly Recaps

Each Monday we recap the weekend that was with a good old-fashioned GBU. There were things you liked, loved and things so bad you had to look away. We’ll give you a few of ours, you fire away in the comments and we’ll discuss in depth tonight on TDB.
G: J.T. Toppin. He’s carrying this Texas Tech MBB team right now.
B: The continuous banging of the drum for Texas by ESPN when it comes to the CFB Playoff. Manipulating a bit here? Yes. Shocked? No.
U: Lane Kiffin. His professionalism is slightly below that of where the Titanic currently rests.
OK, there’s a few to get you started. What impressed you the most this weekend? Let us know.
