Ya know what we get to do today?
We get to play baseball! And Softball.
At least that’s the plans right now. Texas Tech Baseball was supposed to play Tuesday night at ACU but the postponed because someone thought it might rain. That and neither team probably wanted to play that game for a lot of reason. So, tonight it’s Incarnate Word in Lubbock for the Red Raiders.
Texas Tech Softball went to UTSA last night and won 10-0 and they’ll hang around the area and take on Texas State tonight at 6pm. No Big 12 series for Tech this weekend so they needed to add some games and hopefully easy wins.
This time next week it will be Draft Day Eve. Remember… Vontae Mack, Not Matter What! That and you’re gonna get a great commercial for Texas Tech Football the first hour of the draft as David Bailey either goes two or three. We’re also paying attention to the basketball transfer portal right now, as some Texas Tech Fans do their annual Portal Freak Out. Relax. It’s gonna be OK.
Grant McCasland will put together a high-level roster, most of the players will be new and you won’t know hardly anything about them until they get them signed. Sound familiar? It works.

Fix It Wednesday
Just to be clear for our friends in the desert, no we are not talking about arranging outcomes… Felt we needed to clear that up real quick…
What we do on Wednesdays is identify glaring problems in the world of sports and then we fix it. Simple. Easy. If only someone in the world had the power to actually do this sports would be much better. So, what are you looking at this week?
College Sports is an easy target. There’s trying to watch your Texas Rangers on TV right now that can be a challenge. Bring back Merle Harmon, Norm Hitzges and HSE PLEASE! Maybe you think you can fix the tanking problem in the NBA.
