Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
It’s Wednesday and for the most part things have been pretty boring around Texas Tech Football the last several days. And that’s great. After most of the Summer having more headlines than you’d like, this late July stretch suits us just fine. Let the SEC make some noise at their Media Days. Let their coaches say goofy things. Let their commissioner dominate the news. In the Big 12, the time is now to turn to actual football news. Hopefully.
We’ve still got a few days to go before the players report and the countless practice reports start rolling out. But for now, this quiet is much need. As we say every year, you really don’t want a lot of news coming out during Spring Drills or August Camp. Because, usually, the news isn’t good.
With that as the backdrop, we’ll still have plenty of things to talk about tonight with y’all on The Daily Broadcast. The “Protect College Sports Act” is still limping along in the Senate. They tinker at the edges with ideas, but this bill just won’t happen. It is allowing you to see exactly what the SEC and Big 10 want to do with their future though. We’ll discuss that tonight and whatever else the day brings us news-wise with y’all LIVE at 5:30 Central. Join in via Twitter/X, the Raiderland YouTube Channel and our growing Raiderland Facebook Page. All free so sign-up for each one and never miss a thing.
If life did get in the way last night and you missed the Tuesday night show, we’ve got it right here:
