It really feels like this should be Thursday, right? Between the weather, Tech hoops on Tuesday, CFB on Monday, no clue what day of the week it is. Seems like this has been a trend since Christmas!!!

Speaking of Texas Tech MBB, they got another fine road win, taking control of the second half enroute to a 81-71 win at Cincinnati. First time in program history to open with 4 straight Big 12 road wins. That’s impressive and much needed. Just ten days ago they were very much a bubble team. Now, they’re solidly on that 8 line. Much work to do still but a lot better than things looked going into Big 12 play.

The Lady Raiders have an early tip at 1pm in Houston today. Tech opened Big 12 play with a win over the Cougars and need another this afternoon. They went early because of weather, so they’ve been in Houston since Monday. Unless you’re showing a goat, that’s long enough this time of year . . .
