We made it to the end of the week, or the start of the weekend, however you want to look at it!
We seem to say it every Friday, but here’s another big series for Texas Tech Baseball as they host Houston in Big 12 play for the first time. Tech starts the weekend at 54 on the D1 Baseball RPI. They’ve also got the Red Raiders on the First Four Out right now when it comes to the NCAA Tournament.
I think D1 Baseball was too generous in their field of 64 projections for the Big 12. I will be pleased if the league can get five teams in this year. That means Tech has ton of work to do. You don’t have to sweep every series, but you can’t drop many if any at this point. That’s a tall order in the Big 12, even in what I consider a down year for the league.
So it starts tonight for Tech at home.
Did we mention the wind is gonna howl out to left this weekend. So there’s that.
