Happy Friday, Y’all !
Made it to Friday, ready to get this weekend going strong! It’s fascinating to be this excited to see Texas Tech play a not-so-good Oregon State team, but here we are. We need to see some more from the Red Raiders to confirm what we think we know right now. We think they’re a pretty good football team. We think they’re capable of doing some impressive things. Maybe we get another glimpse of that Saturday.
The big question for y’all is do you think Texas Tech will hang a number of the Beavers? What’s that number of points that will satisfy the American football public perception crowd? 40? 50? Another round of 60?
Right or wrong, Texas Tech needs to win the beauty contest this weekend as well as the game. Texas Tech needs to blow-out Oregon State to keep the poll voters and the folks making decision on the CFB Playoff Board happy. Simply put, Texas Tech needs to run up the score on any one and everyone they can this season in order to make up for a bad non-conference schedule and a league that is gonna be picked apart by analysts as not very good. The lack of quality wins is glaring and Texas Tech will pay the price.
