5 Things We Know On A Sunday

  1. I immediately have great respect for anyone who gets a reference to “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”. It should probably be brought up in all political debates to see how deep their knowledge is of the world. 42.
  2. There’s no more clear indictment of the failings of so many colleges and universities around the country to actually provide their “customers” with something of value for their dollars spent than to have the Democrat party say no one should be required to actually have to pay for what the schools provide…
  3. If you grew up reading “Boy’s Life” Magazine; your probably ended up OK. At the very least you could start a fire and make a lean-to survival tent in the woods if you were abandoned by your Scout Master and other adults!
  4. It’s hard to beat a great BLT sandwich. If you find a place around Lubbock or West Texas serving one, let us know. Otherwise, it’s best to make your own. By the way, the bread should always be toasted. Always.
  5. Most nearly every city wants to grow, but at the same time they bemoan and decry all of the issues and problems that come with growth. So, what’s the point of wanting a city to grow? Is there actually a Sweet Spot that a city or community should aim to maintain? I think there is. That said, when you realize what that Sweet Spot is for your city; you’ve probably already blown right past it. In the name of growth, of course…
