Happy Thursday, Y’all !
Thank you post-season baseball for stretching out the week and giving us compelling sports until college and pro football could get back on our TVs! Day baseball is one of the greatest inventions America has come up with. Should be at least two or three day games all year long!
From that to now the race to Saturday night for Texas Tech. Another anticipated road game. The games this season, even the non-conference games have had a sense of anticipation that we haven’t seen around the Hubbaplex in many years. The amount of folks just wanting to talk about Tech Football right now is fun to see. I have to add extra time when we go to United so I can talk sports with folks. It’s as it should be. . .
We’ll get into Texas Tech and Houston Xs and Os a little tonight on the show as well as take a look at the rest of the Big 12 slate. Who are you paying attention to outside of the Red Raiders this weekend? Which teams are starting to intrigue you? Add in some NFL and we’ve got ourselves a fun Daily Broadcast. Over, Under, Rated Right Thursday
On Thursdays we get to rating things around Raiderland. Sometimes sports, sometimes not. You never know what kind of question someone might ask you, so you’ve got to be ready at a moment’s notice with strong opinions. We’re here to help.
This week, let’s take a look at Home Appliances and Gadgets. Yep. You read that right. It’s exciting times around Raiderland HQ as we got a new washing machine this week. It’s pretty basic by today’s standards, but still more high-tech than I’d prefer. But the lid is see-through and that is already fun to watch. May cancel YouTube TV…
So, what household appliances and things make your list? Here’s ours today, you fire in the comments.
Overrated: Dishwasher. Handy for sure, but you can always wash your own dishes.
Underrated: Washing machine. Unlike dishes, you can’t really just wash a load of your own clothes in the sink. Want to know how much it means, go a few weeks without one!
Rated Right: The good old microwave. Again, you don’t need it, but it’s a staple now in households and does what needs to be done fast.
Was trying to figure out where the Air Fryer works. I’ll leave that up to you!
