Happy Monday, Y’all!
Made it to Tuesday, week one of the NFL is in the books and we can now turn our full attention to Texas Tech and Oregon St. Will this be the first real “test” for the Red Raiders? Will we see the short-yardage run game look a little more powerful? Will we see Tech clean-up the penalties on special teams? There ya go. That seems to be the drama we’ve got right now for this game. We don’t even have weather concerns this week. Clear skies and a 2:30 start is about perfect this time of year in West Texas.
Today we’re looking for your favorite storylines for this game. What are you looking for this week before Tech steps up several notches in class when they play at Utah? We’ll also talk a little bit more about the 11AM Central start time for Tech at Utah. Great for Texas Tech. Early for Utah, but remember, that’s what the old Pac-Whatever teams were begging for a few years ago. They wanted more chances to play earlier in the day and not be related to the walk-away fights late Saturday night. So they can’t complain about the start time at 10 AM local.

We all know Lubbock does it right. It really started in 2000-2002. That’s when tailgating took off at Texas Tech. For a lot of reasons. For those fortunate to have travelled a bit over the years, give us your two favorite spots away from Lubbock. Breakfast in SLC? That should be interesting…..
