Happy Tuesday, Y’all !

I’m still not a fan of having two games on Monday Night Football….

Plus last night was a pain going back and forth if you wanted to watch both at the same time. I am a fan of starting Monday Night Football at 6:45 or 7 Central time. Let’s get that thing going so we can catch up on a little rest after a rough weekend!

As for Texas Tech, pressers took place yesterday for the coaches and we heard pretty much we thought we’d hear. And it was fine with me if anyone is asking. You have to give Joey McGuire credit. He owns a loss. Starts at the top and when he talks it’s not false bravado like some coaches. You can tell the ones who are snarky about it. He isn’t. That’s a good thing. Now, you just don’t want a coach who gets too used to “owning losses”.

It reminds me of what the president at Lubbock Christian College said in the 80s when they ended their football program. They were proud of how resilient the players and coaches were, but they’d had too many lessons in humility to keep the program going!

We’ll talk a lot of Texas Tech, Big 12, NFL and more tonight with y’all LIVE at 6:30 on The Daily Broadcast. Catch us on X, YouTube and Facebook Live! If you missed the Monday Show, here ya go:

Tuesday’s Best

Each Tuesday we throw out a topic and you give us your two best examples of said topic. Sometimes sports, sometimes not.

Today we want to know your two All-Time favorite World Series NOT involving the Texas Rangers or The Houston Astros…

Who ya go when it comes to the Fall Classic?

It felt like in the 70s and early 80s the Dodgers and Yankees played every year, even though they obviously didn’t. One of my first favorite series was in 1979 when Pittsburgh beat Baltimore. Looking back, the uniform match-up alone was glorious and it gave us We Are Family.

Trust us… the highlights are here!

So post your comments below and we’ll take up the discussion tonight on TDB LIVE at 6:30 .
