Happy Thursday, Y’all !

After a crazy few days of Texas Tech sports, it feels like we can take a deep breath and catch-up today. Of course 13h ranked softball is on the road at North Texas, but that just means we can focus in on them and see how they perform away from home again.

We’ve got to wait until Friday for Tech Baseball to get back to action in Las Vegas against Illinois, great team from the Big 10 and then MBB back at it in Lawrence on Saturday. So fuel up.

We’ll talk about all of that and more tonight on The Daily Broadcast. Join the show LIVE at 6:30 Central on X, YouTube and Facebook. One of the MORE things will be the dazzling video Texas Tech release this week on the new football facility. It’s turning heads nationally.

So catch the show and get your comments and questions out there!

What IF Wednesday

Each Wednesday we go down the road of alternative history. Sometimes sports, sometimes not, but it’s always interesting to ask certain What IF Questions.

Today we focus on what every great Texan should be talking about this week. The Alamo.

Here’s the question.

What IF: Gen. Santa Anna and Mexican forces didn’t not attack and annihilate the defenders of the Alamo?

This begs several other questions. Does that mean the Texans held off the attack and “won”. Does that mean they abandoned the Alamo before the final battle? Did Santa Anna instead of attacking just leave a small siege force and move on after Gen. Sam Houston to the East?

You tell us.

What happens if the Alamo battle goes differently?

Fire away in the comments below and we’ll discuss in-depth tonight on TDB.

Raiderland Hot Links

  1. Hmmm, results for Monterey, Estacado, and Frenship but no Ropes.

On my scorecard that makes it the Elite 8 in both football and basketball for the Eagles.
